Monsters
So here's the deal. We tend to get monsters from one of two ways:
1. Gods turned them into monsters (think Medusa, Scylla, etc.)
2. They were mortals who have died in Tartarus
They don't want to hurt you, but most will try. When they do, you need to use imperial gold or celestial bronze to kill them. They'll turn into golden dust and reform in Tartarus. Just remember they aren't in their right minds. What's important to note is divinity cures them. We may have to fight them now, but there's a way to bring them back as who they once were.
Here are a few to look out for...

The Covetor
Mitchell Harris
Description: Gray, flaking skin with glowing mint-green eyes and face hidden behind a skull.
Powers: The ability to lure its victims in by having them obsess on anything and everything around them.
Weaknesses: Mirrors. His reflection seems to disorient him more than anything else can.
Ostrea
Evelyn Laurent
Description: A girl trapped in an oyster-like shell, body melded inside by tissues and tied up with ropes.
Powers: Shooting nets out of her shell. Oftentimes she is hard to kill due to her shell shielding her.
Weaknesses: Saying her real name. Especially if it is said by someone she knew and loved.

Shade & Scorn
James and Julia Willis
Description: At first glance, both look like humans, but when clothes can't cover them well, you can see they have pure black eyes that melt down their faces. Their hair always drips wet and their nails are claws.
Powers: They are technically part of the same monster. One is a shadow while the other distracts. They can switch places, confusing victims and luring them into traps.
Weaknesses: Laughter. Anything that makes them think there is more fun happening somewhere else.
Strike Out
Robert Holmes
Description: A horned creature that sparks electricity with white, electric eyes and rotting fangs. His face has stitches that looks like a baseball and he carries around a baseball bat.
Powers: If his bat touches your head, it immediately decapitates. The bat can always injure you, but if it touches your head you're done for.
Weaknesses: Any sort of construction noise. Vera suspects it is because subconsciously it reminds him of his girlfriend, a daughter of Hephaestus.
